Shaykh Ahmed completed his Ijazah in the ten Mutawatir Qira'at at the hands of the senior reciters of Egypt, with a chain of transmission going back to the Prophet ﷺ. He graduated from Al-Azhar Al-Sharif and has spent over two decades teaching Quranic recitation in mosques across Cairo and Alexandria. His teaching style combines the patience of the classical Egyptian schools with a deep understanding of how to reach Muslims who never grew up reciting.
